Scattered among the hills and valleys of this countryside, you may find characteristic villages, such as “Castelcellesi, a cheerful and peaceful hamlet from the 600’s located at an altitude of 400 meters on one of the many buttresses which still retain their original un-refined aspect.

Numerous bicycle, hiking and trekking trails and paths introduce you to a world of exceptional natural beauty. Nearby is the famous "Civita" of Bagnoregio, a medieval hamlet isolated on a magnificent peak.

At short distances,  following state and provincial roads, it is easy to reach Orvieto, famous for its Gothic cathedral; the Lake of Bolsena where its possible to go on a boat ride; Montefiascone; Viterbo; Terme dei Papi with sulfur baths; Tarquinia; Todi; Spoleto; Perugia and Tuscania.  An easy drive on the highway will bring you to the important cities of Siena and Rome.
